Creating timeless, emotional images that capture the heart of life is my passion. I've been photographing weddings and portraits since 2001 in the wider Bay Area. I also lived in Ireland for four years where I captured the magic of Irish celebrations, the land and its people. I'm passionate about photojournalism and make images that are fresh, creative, elegant and intimate. I am a seer and a natural empath which lends itself well to sensing the intangibles like energy and flow. I seek to capture authentic emotions so you can connect and feel the glowing energy in your pictures.

As an artist my special gift is telling the story and genuine essence of people and events. I have a special love of nature so am often hired to shoot in truly spectacular natural locations. I use nature as the greatest backdrop which infuses the essence of the location into your images. One can almost smell the trees, hear the birds and feel the wind. Location is the most important element of your wedding or portrait and I can bring out the beautiful relationship you have with it.

I approach all my work with sensitivity and caring and the desire to put people at ease.  My ability to observe and capture the decisive moment is conveyed in beautiful, emotion filled images. For me authenticity is imperative to the photographic process by documenting things just as they are; recording the real emotion. Portraits can be a flow between some gentle direction and encouraging you to be yourself. People tend to relax once they know they don't have to act or look perfect! It's up to me to capture what is already naturally beautiful about you.

I've garnered a wealth of experience handling and managing the flow of the unexpected, an incredibly valuable skill that comes with being a seasoned photographer. I have a detailed and experienced understanding of how weddings unfold, where I need to be, what I need to capture, how to find the light and most importantly how to stay calm in stressful situations. I've photographed nearly 100 weddings and have seen most of the possible permutations of possibilities. I take it as my job to be a peaceful and calming influence on the wedding party and guests. Unobtrusive, professional and kind would be my personal motto while I work tirelessly to create the perfect story or portrait.
